Hello, I'm Amy. I like to read. I like to keep track of what I read and what I think about what I read here on this nifty blog. I'm the mother of 4 children living near Boise, Idaho. Many of the books I read are from the book club I've been attending since 2006. I am also aspiring to become a writer. I love doing this blog with a woman who has been my best friend since we were 18.

I was one of those kids that would sneak a flashlight into bed at night and stay up hours after my bed time just to find out what happened to Omri and Little Bull, to discover the secret garden with Mary or to see how Nancy Drew would put all the clues together. Although I have less time to read as a busy mom to 5, I still love finding those books that carry me away to a land of imagination and magic. I like to read most anything, but fantasy and historical fiction are my favorites. Most of my reading now comes from the two book clubs that I go to and suggestions from great friends. I love that even though Amy and I aren't geographically close, we get to share our thoughts here with you!
